Express Employment is currently seeking a talented 1st Shift Welder/Fabricator to join a growing team in Toledo, OH. This role involves both welding and fabrication tasks across various projects, requiring a skilled individual who is detail-oriented and committed to producing high-quality results.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project requirements
• Set up and operate welding machines and fabrication equipment
• Perform welding operations in accordance with specified techniques (MIG, TIG, etc.)
• Fabricate metal components and assemblies as required
• Inspect completed welds and fabricated parts for accuracy and quality
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure a clean, organized work area
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding and fabrication
• Proficient in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with fabrication tools
• Attention to detail and a focus on quality assurance
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
