Title: SAP Basis Administrator
Location: Orlando, FL or Burbank, CA
Experience Level: 10+ Years
Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned SAP BASIS and SLT Administrator with over a decade of hands on experience in managing complex SAP landscapes, including SAP S4HANA migrations, SLT replication setups, and BASIS administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and security of SAP systems across development, QA, and production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP BASIS Administration
- Perform system installations, upgrades, and patching for SAP NetWeaver and S4HANA systems.
- Manage transport management systems TMS, client copies, and system refreshes.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, memory, and database usage.
- Handle user administration, roles, and authorizations.
- Perform regular system health checks and implement proactive measures.
SAP S4HANA Expertise
- Lead and support S4HANA conversion and greenfield implementation projects.
- Manage HANA database administration, backup/recovery, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with functional teams to ensure smooth integration and data consistency.
SAP SLT Administration
- Configure and manage SAP Landscape Transformation SLT replication servers.
- Monitor realtime data replication from SAP and nonSAP sources to HANA.
- Troubleshoot replication issues and optimize SLT performance.
- Work closely with BI/Analytics teams for data provisioning.
Required SkillsQualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in SAP BASIS administration.
- 5+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA and SLT configuration.
- Strong knowledge of SAP system architecture, kernel upgrades, and OSS note implementation.
- Experience with cloudhosted SAP environments AWS, Azure, GCP.
- Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.
Preferred Certifications:
- SAP Certified Technology Associate System Administration SAP S/4HANA
- SAP Certified Application Associate SAP Landscape Transformation Replication Server
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to lead cross-functional technical teams.
