Position Summary:

We are looking for a Business Analyst to evaluate our company's administrative and technology operations and make recommendations to improve efficiency and value. The Business Analyst will be the vital link between our information technology capacity and our business objectives by seeking out, developing, and implementing strategic and technology initiatives for improved efficiency and productivity.

 

To be successful as a Business Analyst you should be able to transform and analyze complex data from our company's expanding tech stack, including MS SQL Server, SharePoint, Azure, and SaaS providers. From building data pipelines and managing storage facilities to evaluating operational efficiencies to developing and maintaining BI reporting needs, our ideal candidate is a technically adept polymath and quick study who will roll up their sleeves and help the company achieve best-in-class business operations in an ever-changing digital landscape. 

Responsibilities: 

• Collect, transform, and analyze data to measure key performance indicators actual versus business objectives.
• Work with management to determine objectives that will improve business outcomes and help managers make better decisions.
• Work with databases to put the collected data into a meaningful structure and format for later analysis. This task involves considering business requirements, relationships between data, and benefits and limitations of database technologies.
• Develop, test, and implement systems to further business objectives.
• Troubleshoot and debug systems to ensure error-free functionality and end-user satisfaction.
• Serve as thought leader for technical business processes, developing forward-thinking systems. prototypes that promote increased efficiency and productivity on multiple levels.
• Review existing systems and internal processes; collect and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
• Testing business processes and recommending improvements.
• Maintaining and add to a suite of business intelligence dashboards to support the enterprise.
• Leverage knowledge of cutting-edge technologies to optimize organizational efficiency.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, economics, or a related field.
• Experience with Power BI or a similar BI tool.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Dataverse).
• Advanced technical skills, including solid SQL skills preferred, familiarity with Python is a plus.
• Awareness of BA project life cycle and database administration concepts. Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Knowledge of or experience with workflow automation and/or APIs is a plus.
• Knowledge of SharePoint, Office 365 is a plus.
• Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
• Awareness of current standards and trends in IT and emerging technology.
• Excellent communication skills, translating technical information for non-technical colleagues.
• Relentless focus on data precision and vigilance around appropriate conclusions.
• This position is 100% on-site and requires presence in our Littleton, MA office, Monday through Friday. Remote or hybrid work is not available.
