Job Summary

HSP Direct's Political Department is seeking a talented and driven Campaign Copywriter with a passion for conservative politics to craft compelling fundraising copy for top-tier political campaigns across the country.

As a Campaign Copywriter, you'll work directly with premier consultants, targeted races, and high-profile candidates—writing persuasive, high-impact direct mail that inspires donors and drives results. This is a full-time, in-office position located in Ashburn, VA. Remote work is not an option.

• Research candidates' positions and campaign strategies to develop relevant and impactful messaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Research client campaigns to develop and maintain deep knowledge of candidates' positions and goals.
• Write and edit direct mail fundraising packages for political campaigns.
• Assist in developing strategic mail plans and meeting rigorous production timelines.
• Partner with political operatives, consultants, and elected officials to refine messaging and ensure accuracy.
• Incorporate feedback and testing insights to continually strengthen fundraising results.
• Contribute creative ideas to optimize message strategy and donor engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, political science, marketing, or a related field preferred.
• 2–5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated ability to write clear, compelling, and persuasive copy.
• Strong knowledge of conservative politics and campaign strategy.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Solid research and analytical abilities.
• Campaign or political fundraising experience is a plus.
• Passion for conservative politics and causes.
