Job Description

This position involves driving 24’, 26’ and a 28’ bobtails to make pick up and deliveries at our customers locations. Oak Harbor Freight Lines offers and internal, get paid while training program for those interested in becoming a Class A Driver. The drivers work Monday – Friday with weekends off.

Overtime after 8 hours daily

Requirements

At least 21 years of age.

Valid DOT Medical Certification

Must have a clean driving record. No DUI or positive drug/alcohol screen in the past 3 years

Ability to effectively communicate with customers, co-workers, and dispatch/managers

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently operate bobtail trucks of different sizes

Adapting to challenging conditions like inclement weather and various road conditions

Ability to meet the company’s reliability standards for employees

Ability to chain as needed and to work in inclement weather as required

Availability to work weekends and / or nights if needed

Other duties as assigned
