Job Description



As part of our global risk management team the role is responsible for supporting the operational business get into contract with its clients and suppliers, advising on the associated risk.

Key role requirements

  • Undertake construction contract reviews
  • Liaise with Professional liability and general insurance brokers to confirm coverage, respond to queries
  • Provide ad hoc contract advice to operational teams and liaise with clients/their legal teams (where requested) to resolve contractual matters
  • Support operational teams through the RM process, help them to resolve issues and get into contract quicker
  • Help to improve risk management tools, systems and processes
  • Work with the operational teams to increase risk management awareness, compliance and capability.
  • Sox control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to, where applicable.

Qualifications



Technical competence

  • Law degree or equivalent legal qualification/experience.
  • Minimum 2 years in a corporate construction legal role, with previous experience of reviewing/re-drafting contracts
  • Strong administrative skillset – Microsoft works tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Powerpoint)
