Job Purpose:
The Communications Manager will be responsible for playing a key role in shaping how we communicate complex, large-scale change across Veritiv, including strategic communications support for mergers and acquisitions, organizational transformations, and other major change initiatives. The person in this role will work closely with program teams and senior leaders to establish a standard engagement model for communications – shifting from reactive, high-touch communications support to a scalable advisory model. This role will require the development and execution of communications strategy and messaging to support organizational change initiatives, ensuring employees and stakeholders are informed, engaged, and receptive. Additionally, as part of the Corporate Communications team, the Change Communications Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing communications vehicles and events in support of the enterprise-wide communications strategy.Job Responsibilities:
