Join Peraton in advancing the safety, efficiency, and modernization of the National Airspace System (NAS) through the FAA’s Business, National Airspace, and Technical Computing Services (BNATCS) contract. As a trusted partner to the Federal Aviation Administration, Peraton helps deliver the systems and services that keep our nation’s skies safe and connected.
We’re looking for innovative professionals who thrive in mission-critical environments and are passionate about shaping the future of air traffic management. This is your chance to make an impact on one of the world’s most vital transportation infrastructures, working alongside leaders in aviation, engineering, data science, and systems integration.
At Peraton, you won’t just support the mission — you’ll define it.
As a Cybersecurity Specialist Advisor, you’ll provide advanced cyber defense, compliance, and risk management expertise across FAA automation platforms that power the NAS, including ERAMS, STARS, ATOP, MEARTS, TFDM, TFMS, AAC, and others. You’ll be at the forefront of defending these mission-critical systems against evolving threats while ensuring secure design, integration, and sustainment.
This is more than a cybersecurity role — it’s an opportunity to safeguard national infrastructure by applying Risk Management Framework (RMF) principles, influencing cyber strategy, and shaping the resiliency of FAA operations. Depending on your experience, positions are available at the mid, senior, and lead levels.
Protect FAA’s mission-critical automation systems from evolving cyber threats through proactive defense strategies.
Apply RMF principles to assess, monitor, and mitigate risks across large-scale, complex aviation programs.
Provide hands-on expertise in secure design, implementation, and sustainment of FAA systems.
Track, evaluate, and counter current and emerging cyber threats, tools, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
Support system accreditation, compliance audits, and continuous monitoring efforts.
Collaborate with FAA leaders, engineers, and system integrators to embed cybersecurity into the foundation of NAS modernization.
