As a Data Analysis Engineer I , you’ll play a foundational role in our data-driven quality and process improvement efforts. You’ll be responsible for collecting, cleaning, and managing data, performing basic statistical analyses, and helping to visualize insights that influence operational decisions.
This role is ideal for someone early in their career looking to build hands-on experience in data analysis within a manufacturing setting, with the opportunity to grow into more advanced analytics, including machine learning, over time.
Gather data from production systems, sensors, and other sources
Clean and validate data to ensure accuracy and integrity
Maintain and update databases regularly
Perform trend and pattern analysis on production data
Apply basic statistical techniques to extract insights
Assist in root cause investigations for process deviations or failures
Create clear, concise reports to share findings with stakeholders
Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor key metrics
Present data and insights to cross-functional teams
Monitor product and process quality indicators
Help analyze defect trends and quality issues
Contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives
Assist in mapping out existing workflows
Support benchmarking studies
Offer preliminary recommendations for performance enhancement
Help implement tools for automated data collection and reporting
Build basic workflows to streamline repetitive tasks
Set up systems for real-time data monitoring and alerts
Engage with senior engineers to build technical expertise
Participate in training programs and workshops
Share knowledge and best practices with peers
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
1–3 years of relevant experience (preferred, but not required)
Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools
Familiarity with manufacturing environments and quality standards
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Enthusiasm for learning and applying data to real-world challenges
This position is part of a tiered engineering structure (Engineer I, II, III). Advancement is considered during semi-annual and annual reviews, based on performance, skill development, and business needs.
