Job Description

Dog Dayz Spa is looking to add a new Animal Technician to their team. This person will be accountable for playing and watching our beloved pets and their health and happiness daily while being able to maintain a clean environment.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with a variety of Breeds, be a reliable employee, exhibit teamwork, and add value to our organization.  

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Perform routine maintenance – Tasks include Poop Scooping, feeding, spending time with each animal, re-charging batters, dusting, mopping, cat-litter , and over all health and cleanness. 
• Conduct diagnostic procedures – Includes extensive diagnostic inventory to determine the sources of customer's problems and provide accurate recommendations. ( if you see an issue or concern with an animal during the duration of the stay.)
• Manage paperwork – Maintain accurate paperwork for both the customer and our records.
• Maintain cleanliness - Ensure the work environment is clean and safe to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety. 

Requirements:

MUST LOVE ANIMALS

● In School, High School Diploma or GED

●  Driver license or a reliable source of transportation

●  Able to work nights and weekends.

●  Knowledge of Dogs tools and equipment.

●  Willingness to participate in in-house training

●  Ability to be at ease with all breeds of dogs and not show intimidation.

●  Excellent listening and communication skills
