Full-Stack Software Engineer (Java/Python/Angular/TypeScript/AWS)

About the Role
This role is for an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer with approximately (8+ years) of experience. You will be expected to ramp up quickly and start contributing with minimal hand-holding.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain core Java-based microservices (Business API and Core API) in a 3-tier architecture.
Develop and maintain front-end features using Angular and TypeScript.
Own infrastructure and deployment pipelines using DevOps best practices, including AWS (ECS), CloudFormation, GitHub/GitHub Actions.
Collaborate with the broader engineering ecosystem, including Trade and Cost Basis teams and microservice consumers.
Utilize observability and logging platforms such as Honeycomb and Splunk for monitoring, debugging, and performance optimization.
Understand and build upon advanced concepts in microservices development and infrastructure, including multithreading, solid design principles, and multi-region enablement.
Required Technical Skills
Strong experience in Java, Python, Angular, and TypeScript.
Extensive experience building and operating applications on AWS (ECS, Lambda, Step Functions, S3, etc.).
Hands-on experience with event-driven architecture using Kafka, Amazon MSK, or Kinesis.
Proficiency with AWS Aurora (RDS) and Redshift for transactional and analytical workloads.
Experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions for CI/CD and repository management.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code using CloudFormation.
Experience developing and integrating APIs, including Supergraph and JQL API protocol based services.
Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools such as Honeycomb and Splunk.
Nice to Have Skills
Experience building JQL-based APIs.
Exposure to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
Experience with additional DevOps or observability tools.
