**Job Title: Furniture Assembler**
**Job Description**
The Furniture Assembler will oversee the assembly of furniture components from start to finish. Upon arrival at the warehouse each day, you will be assigned a list of materials and directions. Your responsibilities include working both in the warehouse and at client sites.
**Responsibilities**
+ Load trucks with necessary materials and prepare for the day.
+ Spend approximately 75% of your time on client sites, which may include universities, office locations, and other warehouses within Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana.
+ Travel in the company vehicle to job sites, unload the truck, and assemble furniture on-site.
+ Prepare future orders and clean the warehouse when not traveling.
+ Start and finish each workday at the warehouse.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum of 1 year experience in assembly, production, or construction.
+ Proficiency with basic hand and power tools such as screwdrivers and drill guns.
+ Ability to read rulers, tape measures, and other measuring equipment.
+ Capability to read basic blueprints and directions.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Provide basic hand tools within the first month of employment (screwdriver, drill gun, bit set, tape measure).

**Work Environment**
The work environment comprises two main settings. In the warehouse, you will work in a modern, clean, albeit not temperature-controlled environment, where maintaining cleanliness is expected. On the road, the environment varies greatly depending on the site and weather conditions. It is essential to dress appropriately for changing weather. The typical work schedule is 7 am to 5 pm, but flexibility is required to accommodate project completion.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MILFORD, MI.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
