Job Description

Captain Jay’s is growing and looking to add a detail oriented HR assistant. This position REQUIRES a detail oriented person, you can dabble into all parts of HR in this position.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Assist in phone screening candidates.
• Implement creative strategies to attract new talent. Search for unique and untraditional ways to recruit, screen and interview candidates, assisting the management team with selection.
• Assist in payroll processing including handling garnishments and tax payments.
• Manage the development and administration of programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the company.
• Assist team leaders and managers on employee training, development, counseling, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Administer and coach management on performance reviews and evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and laws.
• Facilitate employee terminations/separations in a professional.
• Process background checks (as needed).
• Other administrative duties as needed.
• Maintain and administer company property including but not limited to cell phones, emails, laptops, iPads etc.
• Bachelors in HR degree preferred or Business Degree.

• 8 hour shift.
• Day shift.
• Monday to Friday.
• Weekends as needed.
