Job Description

Role Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful HR Generalist to join our growing organization and play a critical role in shaping the employee experience while building the foundational HR infrastructure that enables scale. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution across all areas of human resources including employee relations, compensation and benefits, job and career architecture, and HR policy and program development. This individual will also bring experience working with international teams and a strong understanding of, or exposure to, global HR laws and practices to ensure alignment and consistency across operations. Key Responsibilities

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, and workplace issues.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and support resolution of employee concerns in compliance with company policy and local laws.
  • Partner with leadership to foster a culture of feedback, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring internal equity and market competitiveness.
  • Partner with People Operations leadership to review and recommend compensation structures and benefits enhancements.
  • Support annual compensation reviews, benchmarking, and performance-based reward programs.

Job & Career Architecture

  • Assist in defining and maintaining job frameworks, leveling guides, and career pathways to ensure consistency and transparency.
  • Collaborate with leaders to map roles, skills, and progression opportunities aligned to business goals.
  • Ensure job descriptions are current, accurate, and aligned with organizational design principles.
  • Coordinate with other HR leaders and the business to migrate team members from acquired companies to parent company.

Policy & Program Development

  • Draft, update, and implement HR policies, handbooks, and procedures that balance compliance and company culture.
  • Design and roll out HR programs supporting onboarding, recognition, retention, and career development.
  • Continuously assess and improve HR processes to drive efficiency and employee satisfaction.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Manage core HR processes such as new hire onboarding, offboarding, and data integrity across systems.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
  • Partner with payroll and finance to support seamless employee transactions and audits.
  • Collaborate across the organization to ensure consistency of practices and alignment with international workforce strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent work experience and HR certifications.
  • 5 8 years of progressive HR experience across multiple areas of HR generalist practice.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience developing or improving HR policies, programs, and frameworks.
  • Proven ability to manage complex employee relations cases with discretion and sound judgment.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, startup-like environment with limited structure.
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms and data-driven decision-making.
  • Professional certifications (SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent) preferred.

The compensation range for this position represents our good faith estimate of the range we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate s experience, skills, education, work location, and internal equity.

Estimated Compensation Range: $55 $75 per hour (depending on experience and location).
