Description
We are seeking a proactive and versatile HR Generalist to join our team and help drive our people operations. This role plays a key part in supporting all aspects of human resources, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and compliance. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, has strong interpersonal skills, and can balance multiple priorities with attention to detail.
Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage full-cycle recruitment including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees. Ensure a smooth and engaging new hire experience.
Employee Relations: Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions and concerns. Support managers in resolving workplace issues, performance management, and conflict resolution.
HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS updates, and personnel files. Assist with reporting and HR metrics as needed.
Compensation & Benefits: Support benefits administration, enrollment, and employee communications. Assist with payroll coordination and timekeeping oversight.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws and company policies. Assist in audits and reporting requirements.
Performance Management: Support performance review processes, tracking goals and outcomes. Help managers implement improvement plans when necessary.
Training & Development: Coordinate employee training programs and professional development initiatives.
Policy & Process Improvement: Recommend updates to HR policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
+ 2-5 years of HR experience, preferably as a generalist
+ Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices
+ Proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, Paycor) and Microsoft Office
+ Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
+ Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
Preferred Attributes:
+ Experience in employee engagement and culture-building initiatives
+ Familiarity with benefits administration and payroll processes
+ Positive, approachable demeanor and a collaborative team player
