**Job Title: Welder and Fabricator** **Job Description** Layout, fit, fabricate, and assemble components for Heat Processing Equipment. The work includes assembly, dismantling, and repair activities. **Responsibilities** + Layout, position, align, and fit components together. + Clamps and tack welds parts to secure proper positioning for welding. + Set up equipment and weld parts using Stick, ARC, MIG, TIG, and alloy welding techniques as needed. + Assemble parts by welding and riveting methods, ensuring structures are square and level. + Perform tasks with sheet metal, including fabricating oven panels, spot welding, and applying insulating materials. + Perform tasks such as welding, cutting, and grinding on plate and structural components. + Repair or modify products through dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembly. **Essential Skills** + Welder + Fabrication + Stick welding + MIG welding + TIG welding + Fabrication + Welding + 5-10 years of experience **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Must be able to pass a weld and quick math test. + Experience including bending metal and cutting angles. + Fabrication is the main skill set. + Certification not required. + Must have worked on structural steel 1/4"+ gauge thick. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic and skilled team in a manufacturing environment where you can apply your welding and fabrication expertise. Candidates must have work boots (steel toe not required). The position involves 25% welding and the rest of the time fabricating, building, prepping material, and installing insulation. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chino, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
