Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Senior Manager to join our International Tax Group. The ideal candidate will provide strategic international tax planning, compliance, and advisory services to a diverse client base, including multinational corporations and private businesses. Tax compliance experience is a strong plus, as the position requires both technical expertise and practical application of tax rules to support our clients effectively.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and manage international tax compliance and reporting engagements for both individuals and businesses, including Forms 5471, 5472, 8858, 8865, 1118, 1116, 8833 and related disclosures.
Advise clients on cross-border tax planning strategies, including transfer pricing, foreign tax credit optimization, repatriation strategies, pre-immigration planning and global tax structuring.
Advise on tax treaties, withholding taxes, and permanent establishment issues.
Advise and review U.S. federal and state tax compliance for inbound entities and individuals.
Conduct technical research on international tax laws, regulations, and treaties to guide on inbound and outbound tax issues.
Manage GILTI, FDII, BEAT, and Subpart F income calculations and assist clients in optimizing their tax positions.
Oversee international tax due diligence and structuring for mergers, acquisitions, and expansions.
Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure compliance with U.S. and foreign tax regulations.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on complex international tax matters.
Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering growth and expertise in inbound international tax matters.
Manage risk exposure through thorough review and documentation of tax filings and positions.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client matters with discretion.
Drive efficiency and innovation in tax compliance processes.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA, JD, or Master’s in Taxation preferred.
Experience:
8+ years of experience in international tax, with a focus on inbound tax matters.
Strong knowledge of U.S. international tax laws.
Experience with tax compliance and reporting for inbound entities and individuals.
Proficiency in tax research software (e.g., CCH, RIA) and tax preparation tools.
Compensation:
Competitive annual salary in the range of $160,000 to $220,000, based on the individual’s experience level.
