If any of these opportunities excite you, we would love to talk. **Role** Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve our software - Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables - Ensure the final product is highly performant, responsive, and of the highest quality - Actively participate in agile ceremonies including daily scrum, story pointing, story elaboration, and retrospectives - Lead/Mentor Junior and new team members with maintaining continuous dialogue with Business/Product/Other Engineering teams. **All about you/Experience ** A seasoned Big Data developer with working experience using Cloudera distribution - Proficiency in, at least, one modern programming language such as Java or Scala - Strong Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis. - Extensive experience with Spark Processing engine. - Relational Databases ( Postgres) as well as NoSQL experience - Good Handle on Big data tools / technologies/ Streaming (Hive, Impala, OOZIE, NIFI, Kafka, Sqoop) - Basic Shell scripting and knowledge of Linux/Unix systems - Experience in designing & developing software at scale - Working Knowledge in Software Development engineering Paradigms along with Data Engineering.
