**Hiring for a Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician** **Hours:** 11pm-7:30am M-F **Pay: 35-40/hr** **Job Description** This unique position involves reading and interpreting design prints, assembling equipment as per the prints, designing electrical diagrams, troubleshooting automation equipment, and diagnosing and fixing faults to maintain existing equipment. **Responsibilities** + Read and interpret design prints for equipment assembly. + Design electrical diagrams and panel layouts using 2D AutoCAD Electrical software. + Specify electronic and pneumatic components to develop Bills of Materials (BOM) for controls. + Build well-organized and labeled control systems. + Modify and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs, including Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Fanuc, and Panel View controllers. + Assemble, maintain, calibrate, and inspect automation control systems. + Maintain Human Machine Interface (HMI) applications. + Troubleshoot and modify PLC logic to support the development of new equipment. + Maintain and update documentation for automated equipment, such as electrical schematics and panel drawings. + Provide timely resolution to technical issues related to instrumentation and automation control systems. + Evaluate the performance of both automated and manual assembly equipment to optimize performance. **Essential Skills** + Proven ability to design panel layouts and create electrical schematics using 2D AutoCAD Electrical software. + Experience with troubleshooting and modifying PLCs and HMIs. + Ability to maintain and update documentation for automated equipment. + Strong electrical skills with industrial maintenance experience preferred. + Solid experience with 3-phase motors, panel wiring, and VFDs. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with robotics and motion control, focusing on UR and Fanuc controllers, is a plus. + Thorough understanding of materials strength, hydraulics, pneumatics, cam devices, motors, drive systems, and sensor technologies. + Self-motivated, driven, focused, and results-oriented. **Why Work Here?** We offer opportunities for overtime and promote a strong team atmosphere.
