Job Description

The Marketing and Marketplace Assistant is an entry-level position that supports the initiatives of the Marketing and Marketplace teams. This position completes a variety of tasks to support the teams identified, providing opportunities for learning and future advancement while contributing to the success of the company. This position reports to the Marketing and Marketplace Manager.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service support to marketplace customers mostly through messaging, with occasional calls as needed.
  • Monitor marketplace orders for completion and take appropriate action as needed.
  • Assist marketplace with inventory management and reorder.
  • Complete product listings and updates for the marketplace team.
  • Write content as assigned.
  • Track and respond to customer reviews and report negative reviews for further action.
  • Help with the purchase of reprints and marketing materials.
  • Distribute mailed materials, including but not limited to vendor newsletters and thank you cards.
  • Provide marketing and administrative support for company awards, events, promotions, scholarships, and team tracking & reporting.
  • Update online listings.
  • Accomplish tasks that support the eCommerce and Marketing Director, Marketing and Marketplace Manager, and Marketing and Marketplace Teams.
  • Manage technology and logistics for meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Computer literate with ability to quickly learn different technology
  • Associate degree preferred
  • Understanding of marketing principles and/or marketplace platforms preferred
  • Interest in photography and graphic design preferred

Physical Environment

This position is performed primarily in an office setting. The role requires regular use of a computer, keyboard, and other standard office equipment. The employee will spend extended periods sitting or standing at a workstation while performing computer-based tasks. The environment is generally quiet, climate-controlled, and free from hazardous conditions. Occasional movement throughout the office to attend meetings or collaborate with team members may be required.

Compensation & Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $20.00 - $21.61 per hour. This is a non-exempt position.

DutchCrafters' benefits package includes health, dental, vision, and life insurance that begins on the first of the month after your first day of employment. We also offer a 401(k) plan with a company match, 16 PTO days after 90 days of employment, and a generous employee discount. This role is eligible for a hybrid work schedule after 6 months of employment with 2 remote days and 3 days in the office.

Hours

Working hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. with a one hour unpaid lunch break.
