This Medical Assistant position is located in a cardiology clinic and requires at least six months of experience in an adult outpatient clinic setting. The role involves both clinical and administrative duties, including patient assessment (vital signs, EKGs), assisting with procedures, medication refills, and chart preparation. The position is available for local and traveling candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Obtaining and recording vital signs, including manual blood pressure readings.
- Performing 12-lead EKGs.
- Assisting with procedures as needed.
- Preparing charts and medical records.
- Processing medication refills and requests.
- Performing administrative tasks, such as answering phones and managing patient information.
- Rooming patients.
- Communicating effectively with patients and the healthcare team.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum six months of experience in an adult outpatient clinic setting (cardiology preferred).
- Proficiency in taking manual blood pressure readings.
- BLS certification.
- Active Washington Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) license.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in a cardiology clinic.
- EPIC charting experience.
- 12-lead EKG experience.
- Experience with injections, immunizations, and specimen collection.

- Position is located at a specific Seattle address (550 17th Ave Ste 680, Seattle, WA 98122).
- Candidates must have reliable transportation.
- This is not a floating role.
- The position is open to both local and traveling candidates.
- Pending licenses are not accepted.
Scheduling:
- Five 8-hour days, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- No weekend or on-call requirements.
