Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and support secure enterprise network and firewall architectures.
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot next-generation firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet) including security policies, NAT, VPNs (IPsec/SSL), and threat prevention.
Perform network routing and switching configurations using BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, and QoS.
Implement and maintain site-to-site and remote-access VPN solutions.
Monitor network performance, analyze logs, and resolve complex network and security incidents.
Support network segmentation, zero-trust principles, and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with security, cloud, and infrastructure teams to support hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Participate in network upgrades, migrations, and optimization initiatives with minimal downtime.
Create and maintain network diagrams, documentation, and standard operating procedures.
Provide escalated (L3/L4) support and mentor junior engineers.
Strong firewall expertise with Palo Alto (Panorama, PAN-OS), Cisco ASA/Firepower, and/or Fortinet.
Advanced knowledge of routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VLANs, STP).
Hands-on experience with VPN technologies (IPsec, SSL, GlobalProtect, AnyConnect).
Experience in enterprise or service-provider scale environments.
Solid troubleshooting skills using packet captures, logs, and monitoring tools.
Experience working with hybrid cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP preferred).
CCNP (Enterprise, Security, or equivalent) Required
PCNSE or PCNSA Required
CCIE (Routing & Switching or Security) Highly Preferred
