LOCATION: Mantey Heights Rehabilitation and Care Center – Grand Junction, CO
POSITION: Nurse Scheduler/Receptionist
PAY: - $18.00 - $22.00
SHIFTS AVAILABLE: Mon. – Fri. 8am to 5pm

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains the master schedule utilizing electronic scheduling program (VERAS) that accurately reflects Paid Time Off (PTO)/Leave of Absence (LOA) requests, reserve staff schedules, call-ins, and varied shift hours.
- Adjusts staff to meet the daily needs of the census, budget, and level of acuity.
- Contacts part-time, then PRN staff, then full-time staff to fill open positions to minimize the use of overtime. Divides available overtime among appropriate staff according to established procedure.
- Monitors all incoming public traffic and assists with job applicants.
- May provide clerical and administrative support to the various departments. Clerical duties may include, but are not limited to, use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Suite, and other programs to document or communicate relevant community information.
- Answer telephone, determine nature of call and relay information or route call as appropriate.
- Performs other related duties as may be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of and demonstrated skills in general office procedures.
- Strong organizational skills as well as oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to answer the telephone, take detailed messages, respond to verbal inquiries, take direction from different sources, handle multiple tasks, and be organized in a fast paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and proven ability to use various computer programs.
- Must enjoy working with the elderly!
