RSU #73 is looking for caring, compassionate, and patient people to join the special education team. Students in the functional life skills program have a wide variety of academic, functional, and behavioral needs that must be addressed in ways that foster student development and growth. Successful candidates will closely collaborate with special education program team members to manage student behaviors, implement IEPs and behavior plans, deliver academic programming in consultation with the special education teacher, and support students in the regular and special education setting in both small groups and one-on-one to meet students’ unique needs. Training will be provided.
