SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Be part of the team of Physicians and Advance Practice Providers of the Penn State Division of PSHHVI Structural Heart Program. Will serve as the main APP for day-to-day operations of the HVOU/Cardiac Catheterization lab for Structural Heart. They will be an active team member of the Structural Heart Team collaborating with the Structural/Interventional APPs and will oversee scheduling testing and assessments for Structural Heart Patients. This individual will serve as the liaison between the Structural Program and patients/families and will need to communicate required testing and time frames effectively. Must possess excellent communication skills and flexibility with an ever-changing schedule.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
Graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant Program or baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets licensure requirements in the State of employment
National Certification in State of employment or in another State with reciprocity and licensure to practice in the State of employment
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
