At Orinda Pet Grooming , we’ve been a trusted name in Contra Costa County for years, and now, in partnership with Hugs for Harry , a non-profit dedicated to rescuing senior, forgotten, and abused dogs, we’re looking for a Professional Dog Groomer to join our small but mighty team. Together, we’re committed to providing top-notch care and compassion to every furry friend that comes through our doors.
As a Professional Dog Groomer , you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the health, happiness, and well-being of our rescued dogs at Hugs Haven in Orinda. This is more than just a grooming position—it’s an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of dogs who need it most.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Providing professional grooming services, including baths, trims, nail clipping, and ear cleaning.
- Handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments with care and patience.
- Keeping grooming areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Collaborating with our team to ensure the best care for our rescued dogs.
- Showing kindness and compassion to every dog, especially those who may be nervous or have special needs.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- 5+ years of professional dog grooming experience.
- A deep love for animals and a gentle approach to handling dogs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high grooming standards.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a small, dedicated team.
- A passion for helping rescue dogs and making a positive impact in their lives.
