We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer with 3+ years of professional experience in testing enterprise level software, mobile applications, and embedded IOT integration. The Quality Assurance Engineer will develop and execute comprehensive test plans, and analyze test data to validate the performance, and reliability of Sol-Ark’s software platforms and products. This role involves close collaboration with design and development teams to ensure that products meet industry standards and customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze product requirements and create clear, structured test cases and test plans for web, mobile, and connected devices.
  • Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including steps, expected results, and traceability to requirements.
  • Identify test coverage gaps and communicate risks to stakeholders.
  • Perform thorough functional, UI/UX, and integration testing on:
    • Web platforms.
    • Mobile applications (iOS, Android).
    • Connected devices (via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or other protocols).
  • Execute cross-platform and cross-device tests.
  • Log detailed, reproducible defects in the bug tracking system (e.g., Jira).
  • Verify defect fixes and perform regression testing.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers in Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and workflows.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in Computer Engineering or Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field from an accredited US University.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • At least 2 years of experience in test.
  • Familiarity with software configuration management tools and version control systems.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of power electronics and control algorithms.
  • Experience in testing software for real-time control applications.
  • Familiarity with at least one of the following cloud environments: AWS, Azure, GCP.
