Job Description

NAOVI has a career opening for a Sr. Systems Administrator for the following task:

Mandatory Skills

• Demonstrated experience with system administration in Windows & Linux/Centos Server environment.
• Demonstrated professional experience analyzing, troubleshooting, and tuning performance parameters in the Apache/Tomcat Java Webserver environment.
• Demonstrated professional experience defining, requesting, configuring, and monitoring Cloud server architectures to include Amazon Web Server EC2, RDBS, S3, and Elastic Load Balancer, Route 53 in a Tier 3 support environment.
• Demonstrated professional experience developing and implementing system upgrades.
• Demonstrated experience identifying technical risks and risk mitigation strategies.
• Demonstrated experience providing Operations & Maintenance, Tier 1-3 Support.
• Demonstrated customer relationship management skills.
• Demonstrated experience creating and updating procedures e.g., Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Optional Skills:

• Demonstrated experience using Agile management systems and methods such as Kanban or Scrum.
• Demonstrated experience working in the DevSecOps environment e.g., CI/CD pipeline, CloudFormation.
• Demonstrated experience utilizing CLIs with Windows, AWS and Linux environments.
• Demonstrated experience moving systems through the accreditation and authorization (A&A) process and monitoring for compliance.
• Demonstrated experience with gathering evidence to support the A&A process e.g., POA&Ms.
• Demonstrated professional experience installing and configuring the Moodle Learning Management System.
• Demonstrate experience with Database engineering, development and administration.
